Lichen - Ceramics

An ongoing series of ceramic works documenting the damage and regeneration of a woodland site impacted by wildfire. 

 

Incorporating clay and organic materials collected from the site itself. These ceramics specifically highlight the shapes and textures of the lichen and moss that were the first to grow back after the fire.
